Joy Fahey, a well known artist and art teacher on the coast, is now based at the Mijas Centre and is offering this very special workshop that she’s famous for as seen on the BBC’s Living in the Sun program, for inspiring all her students to discover their hidden talent of drawing and painting

As Joy says ‘There is no greater feeling of freedom than getting lost in the moment while creating art, it’s liberating beyond anything else you can ever experience’.

To be a human being is to be a creature of creativity. Art and creative, expressive freedom is something that each and every one of us is blessed with. Drawing and painting is the first communication tool man used and is our natural and fundamental way of expressing ourselves.

Joy will teach you some simple techniques in drawing that will amaze you and then you’ll experiment with Acrylics and create two paintings!

You’ll feel relaxed and happy having achieved something you didn’t think possible. Share with like minded people and have a day to remember.

The Workshop will run from at 10.30am till 5.30pm
