Los Castaños is a very special hotel, the perfect place for a romantic getaway.
Located in Cartajima, a peaceful inland village just 1 hours drive from the coast, close to the historic town of Ronda.
The pretty village and its surroundings are ideal for artists, walkers, hikers and anyone who likes to experience traditional Andalucía.
If you want, Diana the owner can arrange entrance to the caves for you (perfect place to visit to cool off from the summer heat). Also local vineyards, flamenco nights, the historic sights of Ronda and more... please enquire as there is some uncertainty of what will and won't be open, and Diana has the local knowledge!

There are just 6 rooms in Los Castaños, but they are keeping bookings to a minimum so that guests feel comfortable and safe. It is therefore important to check availability.
All the rooms have ensuite bathrooms, equipped with everything you may need from fluffy bathrobes to Q-tips. Also a selection of in-room tea and coffee choices, WiFi and a Complementary Minibar with a good choice of sodas, wines, cava and beer. The rooms all have a half or full balcony with views either to the mountains and/or the village square, reading lights and a lovely added touch, sketching materials!
Breakfast is also included in your short stay, which is all freshly made to order. One customer loved what they had, fresh fruit salad, eggs, bread, freshly squeezed orange juice and some local cheeses and meats.
We can't recommend this hotel enough. You will be incredibly well looked after in a home from home atmosphere and a beautiful rural setting.
