Fibreglass nails were developed during the 80's, the same time acrylic nails were developed. Acrylic nails took off, but Fibreglass never got the recognition that it deserves! Trends are changing now and fibreglass is starting to be the top choice for extensions.
Fibreglass is a thin, mesh strip that is applied onto the natural nail along with glue to create the durability and strength that is expected with fake nails.
