Dutch brothers, Jean-Paul and Mikel Geelen always had a passion for restoring classic items, from musical instruments, vehicles and more recently, a 1966 American Chris Craft yacht. The restoration project took two years - a process which was more of a labour of love than anything else, but through their meticulous attention to detail and a deep appreciation for the yacht's rich history, they transformed what was an ailing relic into a resplendent yacht with a renewed beauty and splendour, naming it “Mooi” (which means “beautiful” in Dutch).

Now moored in the glamorous Puerto Banús harbour, Jean-Paul with his partner Cristina offer unforgettable experiences to anyone who would like to enjoy a sail out on their truly unique 18-metre vessel. Mooi can accommodate up to 12 guests however they say eight people is the perfect number for a group to sit comfortably together. As the restauration of Mooi was such a personal project and so close to their hearts, it is understandable that they prefer to encourage families and professionals to enjoy their boat and do not charter to stag or hen parties.
