Located in the Serrania de Ronda, about 20 minutes drive from the town of Ronda itself, this small bodega is a great place to go if you would like to discover beautiful inland Andalucía.
Bodega Morosanto was founded in 2005 by Miguel Ángel Cespedes and is located on the old Cortijo Morosanto, in La Cimada, 20 km from Ronda (Málaga), just 10 km from the Roman city of Acinipo and 10 minutes from the town of Setenil de Las Bodegas, famous for its dwellings built into rock overhangs above the Río Trejo. We highly recommend a visit to Setenil at the same time if you can fit it in!
Along with learning about the fascinating Roman and Moorish history of the site, you will be introduced to their wines. The grapes grown on their 12 hectares of land are Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Tempranillo, Petit Verdot and some Graciano; and white grapes: Viognier, Chardonnay and Muscat.
