Caffreys Bar was founded in 2009 by Joe Caffrey who hails from Dublin - as you can see from the photo, Joe is a fun loving guy and this comes across into the atmosphere he creates within the bar.

Joe had been holidaying on the Costa del Sol for over 12 years before deciding to relocate here permanently in 2009.
He soon realised that there were no real Irish style bars or restaurants in this area, and set about finding the ideal location for his new venture.

Located in a beautiful area called Nueva Andalucía, Caffreys Irish Bar and Restaurant is ideally situated just off the main Ronda road in a commercial centre called Monte Halcones which translates from Spanish into 'Mountain of the hawks'. From the Sun Terrace, you can often see Peregrine Falcons and sometimes even Eagles circling in search of prey - awesome!

The bar is spacious (but still small enough to hold a great atmosphere), and is kept spotlessly clean. The food menu is a blend of traditional Irish hearty fare & Continental cuisine - all freshly cooked onsite  by an award winning chef.

The fantastic sun terrace area is great during the summer and provides a comfortable space for the smokers amongst you, but is large enough for those that prefer not smoke, to enjoy that al-fresco dining experience without feeling cramped. In Winter it is heated so you can enjoy it all year round!

Joes passion for Sport goes further than just Golf, and the bar features a full satellite system capable of showing almost any sporting event from around the globe. The system also allows us to show different games on different screens so you are almost certain to get to see the match that matters to you.

There is ample parking nearby, a Taxi rank, and also a handy 7-11 type supermarket (Opencor) less than 100m away for those holiday essentials.
