A step by step guide

1. Consultation

Before any procedure, it’s important to have a consultation so that you can discuss what’s involved and the look you want.

2. Analysis

Susan will perform a full skin tone analysis to determine what pigments to use to achieve your desired lip colour, taking your hair colour into consideration.

3. Preparation

Susan will use a guide colour pencil to draw on the desired shape, measuring symmetry and using calipers to perfect your measurements. She will ask you to confirm that everything is correct before she begins. A topical anaesthetic is applied to the area, to minimise any discomfort.

4. The Procedure

The procedure takes between 60-90 minutes, as she carefully recontour your lips to create a beautiful, fuller lip. Depending on the desired effect once the lip line has been recontoured, a blush blend can be added to make your lips more voluminous. Susan will then check your lips for any final adjustments and apply aftercare.

5. Top Up

You will need to have a top up appointment to check the shape and colour of your healed lips and take care of any adjustments. This takes place only when the skin has healed: usually 4-6 weeks from the initial procedure. If a touch up is required this will cost €50.

6. Maintenance

Permanent makeup does fade over time and exposure to sun and skin tone are contributing factors as to when you’ll require a colour boost. Susan would recommend booking a consultation, 12-18 months from your completed procedure.
